How does it work?
Your Mat Pilates Teacher Training and Reformer Pilates Teacher Training will be a combination of In Person + Online. Join us for the In Person Portion of your Teacher Training at Rumah Kayu Resort, 8th-10th January 2026.
For Reformer, the In Person portion of your Teacher Training will be at Grun Uluwatu, 12th-15th January 2026.
This will be the best decision you will ever make to complete your Teacher Training, with starting the day with daily breakfast bowls, sauna and pool within close reach, daily lunches and gorgeous rooms to unwind after a day of learning

What differs us to other Teacher Training Courses is that our courses are designed and taught by our Master Instructor and Head Trainer who is a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist with years of clinical experiences with daily caseloads of back pain, neck pain, scoliosis, disc issues, hip and shoulder issues and more. Can I get a refund if I'm unhappy with my purchase?
Bundles are not refundable as they consist multiple courses, we would offer a transfer of course for Teacher Training to another cohort, but all purchases are final.
How long to I have access to the content?
You will receive 1 year access from the day you buy to help you in your first year of teaching, compared to 6 month access when purchasing just the Reformer or Mat Teacher Training Course.
You will receive a hard copy of the manual for reformer and mat course as part of the course fee.
Do I need to finish all my online content for Reformer before heading into practical dates?
No, you can hop into the practical course before finishing the online component. You will only need to then arrange a later time with The SO Academy to take your completion exam once you finish your online and self directed hours. For more information regarding the breakdown of each course, please refer to each course's page.
You will need to ensure that your payments have all completed before taking your exam.
How is the training structured?
Your training does not only consist of the online materials. As part of the programme, you will be required to do some self training and practice hours, attend group class for observation and practice hours, along with your practical in person days.
Your certification is only granted upon completion of all the necessary hours and tasks.
What currency is this training priced in?
We offer NZD pricing at checkout. You can choose to pay in full up front (and receive a discount) or on a payment plan.
Failure to complete payment plan will affect completion of certification and access to materials.

What is included in the course fee?
The pricing includes In Person hours, practical assessment via video, online materials and short quizzes, hard copy manual and support throughout the course. Daily lunch and tea are included in your tuiton fee. Travel, visa and accommodation cost to Uluwatu, Bali is not included outside of Birthday Week Promo 23-30th September 2026.
Arrangements to In Person Location.
Students are required to be at Rumah Kayu Resort & Grun Uluwatu for the In Person dates of the course (8th-10th January 2026; 12th-15th January 2026). Students are responsible for arranging their own travel, accommodation and visa processes to Bali, Indonesia. The SO Academy, Rumah Kayu & Grun Uluwatu are not responsible for arranging any of the above, however, students will gain access to a special rate to stay at Rumah Kayu & Grun Uluwatu after enrolling. We recommend staying at the location if possible to ease the travel stress!
*As part of our birthday week promotion (22nd-30th September 2025), your tuition fee will include a 3 day 2 night stay at Rumah Kayu Resort, daily breakfast, lunch and tea. Simply book your flights and arrange your visa for this course if you sign up within this period. Limited spots available!!
