In 2026, we covered THREE Pilates Instructor Masterclass Workshops at Wabi Studio, Penang.
It’s was such an amazing experience for both our Teaching Team and students to bring quality teaching and upskilling their skillsets backed by anatomy and science, to better serve the community in Penang, Malaysia. Here’s a lil recap.
TSA’s Masterclass Workshops
THREE Masterclass Workshop sessions, held in January and July 2026. From special population, class planning and effective cues, the Penang team learned so many vital skills from our Masterclass Workshops to make their teaching offering just that much better.
In January - we explored our Effective Cueing Masterclass Workshop, and Special Population Workshop. To help the instructors fine tune their teaching cues to ensure client comprehension in class, and special population to work on the Clinical Pilates aspect- covering lower back pain, knee pain and more. We explored how to manage each conditions and provide benefit safely from a Pilates point of view.
In July, we explored Class Planning (basic and advanced) as per The SO Method, to help their class plans and teaching come together with intention, to build a full class performance that clients will appreciate.
Exploring Penang’s world famous cruisine
It’s not a trip to Penang without exploring it like a local and checking out Penang’s world famous cruise. Wabi Studio’s team is amazing for their hospitality and bringing us around and providing local recommendations.
