Our Reformer Pilates Course is a all comprehensive, internationally accredited 150+ Hour course with a combination of online content and 4-day in person to teach you everything you need to teach Reformer Pilates confidently and successfully.
ONLINE + SELF DIRECTED LEARNING
- Online Modules with access to 80+ Reformer Pilates Moves, approximately 40 hours, at your own time.
- 30 Hours Group Classes and Observation at Reformer Pilates Studios.
- 35 Hours Independent Practice Teaching and Cueing (Self Directed).
- Support from community of graduates, teachers in Facebook community and via email.
IN PERSON DAYS (12th - 15th January 2026)
- 36 Contact Hours in Person at Grun Uluwatu, Bali.
- 5 Hours Assessment Prep.
- 5-10 Hours Independent Practice Teaching and Cueing.
- Support from community of graduates, teachers in Facebook community and via email.
- Assessment via video submission at a later time (subjected to completion of online hours).
Completion of Online & Self Directed Learning Hours is not required before the In Person Days. The In Person Days are designed as part of your learning, and as part of the 150+ hours. Early sign ups are recommended for your hours to start building your hours.

FAQ to those burning questions.
Are there any prerequisites in terms of having to complete a certain number of reformer classes?
As part of completion of the course, you will have to attend 30 hours of group classes and/or observation to ensure you self-practice and build your experience doing reformer pilates. So, there is no pre-requisite before signing up, as we have incorporated your reformer practice into your Teacher Training Journey.
Who can do this course?
Everyone and anyone! Our courses are open to all, and are Internationally Accredited & Recognised. Our graduates go on to teach Internationally around the world, some even open their own studios!
How long do I have access to the course?
After enrolling, you have unlimited access to your online modules for a total of 6 months, we suggest writing notes and the exercises down so you can keep them with you forever!
You will receive a hard copy of the materials when you come for your in-person training so don't be too worried about losing the online content!

How is the course?
Your training does not only consist of the online materials that you will have access to once you purchase the course, but also included self-practice hours, doing classes at studios and getting yourself ready to physically teach and learning in person during the 4 day in person training.
What is included in the course fee?
The pricing includes In Person hours, practical assessment via video, online materials and short quizzes, hard copy manual and support throughout the course. Travel, visa and accommodation cost to Uluwatu, Bali is not included.
Arrangements to In Person Location.
Students are required to be at Grun Uluwatu for the In Person dates of the course (12th-15th January 2026). Students are responsible for arranging their own travel, accommodation and visa processes to Bali, Indonesia. The SO Academy & Grun are not responsible for arranging any of the above, however, students will gain access to a special rate to stay at Grun Uluwatu after enrolling. We recommend staying at the location if possible to ease the travel stress!
Do I need to finish all the online component before the practical dates?
No, you can hop into the practical course before finishing the online component. The online components are designed to supplement your In Person learning days. You will only need to then arrange a later time with The SO Academy to submit your completion exam once you finish your online and self-directed hours.
You will need to ensure that your payments have all completed before taking your exam.

We offer NZD pricing at checkout. You can choose to pay in full up front (and receive a discount) or on a 4-month payment plan.
Can I teach after finishing the course?
Yes! Once you finish your hours and submit them for checking & attended your In Person Days and pass your exam, you will be ready to teach. Our courses are internationally accredited, so our graduates teach locally in NZ as well as globally after completing their teacher training course. Some of our graduates have even gone to open their own studios!
